Purpose

Hill Haven Ranch exists to empower and serve alongside those who are vulnerable or at risk in collaboration with volunteers and likeminded organizations. We seek to live out our faith in Jesus Christ by meeting basic needs, restoring hope, establishing caring relationships, and sharing life skills, in order to encourage, equip, and empower the next generation of difference makers. To accomplish this goal we have established a safe and fun ranch environment and are launching programming encompassing equine, agriculture, science, technology, engineering, math, outdoor, sports, music, arts, and faith based activities as a means to holistically impact lives.

Story

In Spring of 2014 after much prayer and careful consideration Arthur and Rebekka, along with their daughter Tabby began an incredible journey leaving behind their incredibly blessed life, amazing church and community, dear friends, and stable successful careers in Santa Barbara in hopes of having an even greater impact as God's hands and feet in closer proximity to their families.

After much searching and looking at everything from single family homes to bare land they took the leap and made the decision to purchase what would become Hill Haven Ranch and convinced Rebekka's sister, Stephanie, to join their crazy adventure.

Facility & Horses

Hill Haven Ranch is a beautiful 60 acre ranch located in the foothills of Browns Valley, CA just a short drive from the surrounding communities.

The ranch has a large arena, round pen, tack rooms, and two barns.

There are also hiking trails, a pond, seasonal streams, and plenty of open space.

We currently have two horses. Captain is an alert and attentive 12 year old Morgan gelding, and Jedi is a 10 year old Paint gelding who is very gentle, sure-footed, and great with kids.
